The Frame, the foundation of the open office solution.
Today we’ll talk about the spinal cord of the product, the “frame” from which everything branches. In future posts, we’ll cover frame components, work surfaces, work place accessories, power & data, and storage.
The foundation of Grid is the “Frame”. The frame is fundamentally an aluminum beam system connected to the floor (or sits freestanding on the floor). No more crawling on your knees to plug in. Data and power are readily reachable, right at work surface level. Frame sizes include a minimalist miniframe (basic power & worksurface support – one side of worksurface), a standard frame (a little higher panel above the power area, providing space definition), and a mega frame (taller space definition). For added privacy if needed, the frames are enhanced with modesty panels and frame toppers, to put where needed, when needed.
